I had a great value for my money at Rak Kiyomizu! The room was very clean and cozy, and the location was perfect. It was situated in a quiet neighborhood with a supermarket and nice cafes nearby. Plus, it was just a short walk away from the Gion area. The staff treated me kindly and were very helpful during my stay.
The breakfast option could have been better.

The hostel was very clean and had a modern feel to it. the rooms were well-maintained and smelled nice. I also liked that the double beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. the hostel's location was great as it was only a 10-minute walk from many tourist spots, making it convenient for sightseeing.
That the walls in the rooms were quite thin, so I could hear noise from neighboring rooms, such as conversations and the use of hair dryers. This could be a bit disturbing, especially if you're a light sleeper.

The location of the hostel was fantastic, within walking distance to popular attractions and public transportation. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a convenient wash-basin. the shared bathroom was well-maintained and provided all necessary amenities.
The entry system to the hostel was quite complicated. It required the use of a smartphone to unlock the door online, which could be inconvenient if your phone ran out of battery.

Had a fantastic 3-night stay at this cozy hostel in Kyoto. The location was ideal, surrounded by local amenities and a great supermarket for delicious local food. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my trip even more enjoyable. highly recommend this hostel.

Clean and new property in a nice neighbourhood with good transport links. Smooth self-check-in process using smartphone. Helpful staff provided map and instructions. Early check-in allowed us to explore while our room was being prepared. Comfortable bed and stable wifi. a good choice for a pleasant stay in a convenient location.
